Access to the Wollaton Allotments is from, Martins Reach, Russell Drive, Wollaton, NG8 2BE.

These are newly developed allotments replacing the old allotment site operating from the 1930’s.

 

The Nottingham City Council have designated that they be built to Silver Gilt standard, a standard used for in bloom and allotment competitions.

Wollaton Allotments consists of 182 plots, both full and half size plots, 250 sq. m and 125 sq. m respectively.

These are divided over two areas, south and north, with 52 plots in the South and 130 plots in the North opening july 2025. The south area was opened in 2019 and is maturing nicely, occupied by enthusiastic gardeners.

The site has central communal parking, with drop off points near each plot and community buildings with composting toilets, for both the north and the south areas.

If you are successful in your application a tenancy agreement will be issued. It is open to residents of the NG8 and NG9 areas of Nottingham, with no allotment elsewhere, who are given priority.

An applicant waiting list will be kept on file and notification will be sent out as plots becomes available.

The site has been handed back to us and the rental secretaries will be contacting people on the waiting list in the coming weeks.
